WHITBREAD has raised more than £100,000 for Mencap's Blue Sky Appeal.
More than £33,000 has been raised by staff at Whitbread's Pub Partnerships, Inns North West and Beer Co divisions, all based at the firm's Shadsworth Distribution Centre, School Lane, Guide.
The money will help local people with learning disabilities.
Julie Emery, marketing manager for Whitbread Inns North West, said: "Rasing £100,000 has taken staff at Shadsworth and local outlets like Pizza Hut and Marriott Hotels, more than a year and it wasn't easy.
"However, we are all aware that it was a minor challenge compared to that faced by people with learning difficulties."
