DEPRESSION, stress, amnesia and asthma were just some of the ailments treated by Blackburn Healing Centre during its first year.
More than 1,000 'healings' have taken place at the centre since it opened 12 months ago.
The centre operates on a Monday evening at the Friends Meeting House, Paradise Lane, Blackburn.
Margaret Eastham, the centre's healer-trainer, said: "The success of the centre is thanks to the hard work and dedication of the healers who give their time."
She added: "Spiritual healing is the process of channelling divine energies to an individual through the hands of a healer with the aim of assisting the body's own healing mechanism.
"It is complementary to traditional medicine, not an alternative.
"It isn't necessary to remove any clothing during treatment and the beauty of this form of treatment is that it non-invasive and is also extremely relaxing."
