THE memory of popular warehouse worker Raymond Kay, who died suddenly, will live on through a nebuliser that has been bought as a tribute.
Colleagues at Crown Wallcoverings and Home Furnishings, Darwen, clubbed together to buy the equipment for the children's respiratory unit at Queen's Park Hospital, Blackburn after the 61-year-old's death after a short illness in March.
His widow, Brenda, of Sudellside Street, Darwen, who works for the company as data control clerk, wanted donations to be spent on a permanent reminder. She also handed over a cheque for £100 to the department.
Gillian Shaw, Crown's personnel manager, said: "We have been told the nebuliser is going to a seven-year-old boy and will make a real difference to his life."
