THE search is on for Lancashire's Woman of the Year.
The hunt is on for that special woman, she may be a dedicated neighbour, wonderful mum or a devoted carer.
Perhaps she is a high achiever, or maybe someone who has shown great bravery or triumph over adversity or is simply a whizz at sports.
Barnardos want you to tell them about your very own supergran, wonder-woman or marvellous mum.
"Nominations we receive tell us remarkable and touching stories about the many women who do so much in the community, often with no thanks or recognition," said Barnardos' spokesman Pam Prestwich.
Nominations (to arrive before July 10) should be sent to Sarbani Mukherjee, 6 Houghwood Grange, Ashton-in-Makerfield, WN4 9LT
