BLACKPOOL councillors are always telling us that their zoo elephants are dangerous, so their keepers have to have electric goads to control them.
In view of the awful tragedy in Thailand where an elephant killed a young Lancashire woman, I suggest the keepers are given bigger sticks or shoot the elephants or let them go to a sanctuary well away from people.
