AFTER last weekend's record defeat at the hands of Keighley at Victory Park, Lancashire Lynx will be looking to restore some pride tomorrow when they travel to the Rams Stadium to take on championship-chasing Dewsbury Rams (3pm).

Coach Steve Hampson was almost lost for words after the game, but he will be hoping that the injured duo of Mike Prescott and John Paul Doherty will be fit to return. Sean Boylan with a broken nose, Gavin Gordon with knee problems and Danny Butler ankle problems, are still missing and talks are still being held with Martin Roden about extending his loan period from Wigan.

Student international Joe Davies made his debut from the subs bench last week and another student player is expected to join the club in time for this weekend's game.

Dewsbury have been challenging at the top of the league all season and they currently stand second, just one point behind Leigh with a game in hand. They have already won the Trans Pennine Cup this season, and are expected to finish in the top four. Last week they had a comfortable victory over Rochdale with Aussie Brendan O'Meara the star of the show.

They have also recently brought in another Australian Daniel Frame as they strive to reach the Super League. Barry Eaton is one of the league's top points scorers and with his half back partner Richard Agar they are capable of creating problems for the best sides in the league.

Lynx will select from: Roberts, Gary Doherty, O'Loughlin, Garcia, Jones, Alexander, Barker, Prescott, Roden, Norton, Millard, Pekepo, John Paul Doherty, Ramsdale, Vincent, Houghton, Potter, Lewis, Davies, Christie.
