THE ailing Millennium Dome has been given another £29million of Lottery money.
This latest award is on top of the original £399million grant, plus an additional grant of £50million and, just three months ago, one of £60million.
How much more money will be wasted on this white elephant? I can think of far more worthwhile causes which this money could be spent on than the Millennium Dome, which has been proved to be an expensive flop.
Surely, it is time to stop throwing yet more money at the project and cut our losses?
The only sensible course of action is to close the exhibition and sell the site.
