TWO men charged in connection with an alleged robbery on a woman outside a bank at Eanam, Blackburn on Friday afternoon have appeared before Blackburn magistrates.
Terence Alderson, 38, of Bacup Road, Cliviger, and Nigel Peter Tomlinson, 30, of Fielden Street, Burnley, have both been charged with robbery.
The men, who are both unemployed, were granted bailed on condition they do not enter Blackburn.
They will also have to report to police three times a week and not associate with one another.
The two men have been charged in connection with an incident at 4pm on Friday when a woman from Lookers Vauxhall, Blackburn, was allegedly knocked to the ground outside Barclays Bank and robbed of more than £80,000 in cash and cheques.
The case has been adjourned until Wednesday, June 21, for a preliminary hearing at Preston Crown Court.
