THREE Transco Lancashire League sides made it into the quarter-finals of the Inter-league trophy with only Rawtenstall falling at yesterday's second-round stage.
Despite 78 from professional Matthew Mott, Rawtenstall's 149-7 wasn't enough to prevent Central Lancashire League heavyweights Rochdale coasting to a three-wicket win.
Burnley's top order batsman turned in an excellent performance to see off Milnrow by nine wickets.
The visitors posted 175-6 but, with Ian Whitehead hitting 51 and Paul Killian an unbeaten 86, the Turf Moor side comfortably booked their last-eight slot.
Phil Gilrane returned fine figures of 4-6 as Chruch eased to an eight-wicket win over Stand, who were dismissed for just 64.
And Rishton bowled out Radcliffe for 146 to win by 19 runs and guarantee a strong presence in the quarter-final draw which will be made at tea-time during Burnley's game with Todmorden at Turf Moor on Sunday.
