YOUNGSTERS who have set fire to a derelict mill every day for the past fortnight have been warned of grim consequences.
Fire crews and police have been called to the mill, in Richmond Hill Street, at least once a day for the past fortnight to extinguish fires deliberately started inside.
Despite police securing the building each time, youngsters are still breaking in.
A spokesman for Accrington Police said: "It is a very dangerous place for children.
"It is derelict and it isn't safe. There are holes in the floor which they could easily fall through. If they were to get into trouble, there is no guarantee they would be found straight away."
He added: "We have been going up there at least once every 24 hours for two weeks."
The most recent fire, last night caused further damage to the building.
