PRESTON North End manager David Moyes has been linked with the managerial vacancy at Leicester City following Martin O'Neil's move to Celtic.

And Foxes chairman John Elsom has admitted: "Most of the leading names seen in the press are likely to be interviewed."

The Scot, who has just signed a new four year deal at Deepdale after guiding them into Division One, was also connected with the hot seat at Sheffield Wednesday last week.

And, while North End chairman Bryan Gray issued a "hands off" warning to Wednesday, it was thought that Moyes would not be tempted because of the lack of money at Hillsbrough.

But cash is not a problem at Leicester as there is said to be a £20m kitty available to the new manager at Filbert Street.

Other names in the frame are former Wimbledon boss Joe Kinnear, Gillingham's Peter Taylor, Huddersfield's Steve Bruce and Leicester captain Steve Walsh.
