CAMBRIDGE United are leading the chase for Tom Cowan following his release from Burnley this summer.
The former Huddersfield left-back spent a successful loan spell at the Abbey Stadium last season and U's boss Roy McFarland is keen to sign the Scot on a permanent basis.
However, there has been interest in Cowan from other clubs north and south of the border and the 30-year-old defender is still to commit himself to a deal for the coming season.
