FOLLOWING on from a deal with Lookers Volkswagen to sponsor the away end stand at Turf Moor, Burnley today revaled that North Stand sponsors James Hargreaves Plumbing Merchants have agreed to extend their agreement with the club for a further 12 months.
"We are delighted that James Hargreaves have committed themselves to the club for another season and in turn further enhanced the deal with greater financial rewards to the football club," said commercial sales manager Anthony Fairclough.
And Burnley Supporters Club have also put their hands in their pockets to provide some new equipment for groundsman Arthur Bellamy.
The club will present a new pitch mower at the Clarets' opening home game of the season against Wimbledon on Saturday, August 19.
"To maintain the high standards of the Turf Moor pitch it is imperative to have available the best equipment. I wuld like to thank the supporters' club for their generosity," said Bellamy.
