BRAVE people are needed to take part in a firewalk over a bed of hot coals in aid of the East Lancashire Deaf Society.
The Society is organising a firewalk for the second year running at Blackburn Lions Gala, Witton Park, on August 5.
Chairman Doug Alker, who survived the hair-raising walk last year, said it was a marvellous experience and he hoped each local pub would sponsor their own walker.
Fund-raisers are given training on the evening before the walk.
