REGARDING John Eddleston's attitude to section 28 and the referendum in Scotland (Letters, June 27), I would point out that 87 per cent of a million people is 870,000 people.
As there are more than four million people in Scotland, the '87 per cent' who voted against repeal are in the minority.
F MORRIS (Mr), Audley Range, Blackburn.
