CYCLIST Mrs Christine Brown escaped serious injury when she was knocked from her bicycle after a collision with a Ford Mondeo.
The accident happened on Saturday afternoon (July 1) in Walshaw Road.
Mrs Brown (40) from Alston Close, Bury, was taken to Bury General Hospital where she received treatment for bruising to her right leg.
The driver of the Mondeo, Mrs Ann Spencer (50) of Grantham Drive, Bury, was not injured although she was shaken as a result of the collision.
