PENDLE Heritage Centre's walled garden opened to the public as part of the British Red Cross Open Garden 2000 scheme.
The garden has been restored and replanted with plants available in the 18th century when the garden was first created.
David Bollenberg, community fund-raiser for the Lancashire branch of the charity, said: "It is wonderful that organisations such as the Pendle Heritage Centre support our scheme and this is a beautiful garden that excites garden lovers and gives everyone who visits a glimpse into the past.
"All the money raised by the gardens that open in our scheme will go to help our community services which care for local people in times of crisis."
