CRICKETER Mark Croasdale will get on his bike to raise money for his club and Macmillan Nurses.
Accrington CC third team player Mark, 37, will ride to all 14 Lancashire League grounds on a two-day marathon starting on Saturday and finishing the following day at the Accrington v Rishton match at Thorneyholme Road.
The tour will start at 6am from his home club and the first port of call will be Enfield, his former club. He will move on to Church, Rishton, East Lancashire in Blackburn, Ramsbottom and Haslingden. Mark, of Williams Street, Accrington, will return home by car on Saturday night and start again on Sunday at 6am, visiting Rawtenstall, Bacup, Todmorden, Burnley, Nelson, Colne and Lowerhouse.
He is hoping to make the Accrington game between 4pm and 5pm.
Supporters, team mates and friends are sponsoring Mark and there is also a competition to guess the exact mileage.
