SIX times world stock car champion John Lund scored his best result of the year after finishing third in the British Championship at Kings Lynn.
The Rimington farmer moved up from 15 to third in an action-packed final, but was unable to get past second-placed Paul Harrison with Lund's superiority in the corners negated by a lack of straight-line speed.
Overall victory went to Rochdale's Andy Smith, following in the footsteps of father Stuart, who won the title three times.
