Newly crowned fell champion Katie Ingram was beaten by Chorley Harrier team mate Victoria Snape at the Viga Thirsty Three at Heapey, but both girls finished ahead of all the senior ladies. Peter Dickenson was the leading junior man in a race won by Blackpool veteran Paul Muller. In the shorter Gallop, twelve year olds Andrew Thompson and Stephanie Snape, both from Chorley Harriers were the winners. First local primary was the Abbey Village School.
