TWO youngsters charged with the murder of Blackpool man Frankie Greer appeared in court this week.
Detectives from Lancashire Constabulary arrested Clifford John Briggs, 18, from Attingham Walk in Denton, Manchester, along with a 16-year-old male from the Stalybridge area late on Sunday evening in Manchester.
The two appeared before Blackpool magistrates on Tuesday (July 4). There was no application for bail and both were remanded in custody until Tuesday, July 11.
Frankie, a street trader, was found stabbed to death in his flat on Dale Street, Blackpool, on Saturday (July 1). Police are still appealing for anyone who knew the victim, or saw him between Wednesday June 28 and Thursday June 29, to call them on (01253) 293933 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
