WHITTINGHAM and Goosnargh Cricket Club has been bowled over by their latest sponsorship deal.
BNFL's UK Fuel Business, at Springfields, near preston, has helped the combined village club by supplying a dozen match balls to be used in the current season.
The club's Guild Park ground is presently being upgraded to include a junior coaching and practice area which is an indication of how the club's junior section is growing in popularity.
Springfield's employee Gulam Saiyed, who is also a member of the cricket club, said: "We are extremely grateful to BNFL for the donation of the match balls. Support like this enables us to maintain the high standards we have set ourselves at the club and it also helps to encourage and tdevelop the youngsters in the sport."
