I HAVE been informed that Bury Metro security officers, in conjunction with police officers, detained three people and confiscated a motor bike in the Chesham Woods area of Bury on Thursday last week at 7pm.
This action follows investigations into the persistent and illegal riding of bikes in the woods and on local public open spaces.
Hopefully this success will give encouragement to the officers involved and also send a clear signal to others who ride bikes in this illegal and dangerous way.
