ST JOHN'S church, Earlestown, will celebrate its 125th anniversary this weekend with the following events:
Today, Thursday, August 3, 7.30pm: Opening of celebrations and exhibitions; talk by Frank Simcock; refreshments.
Friday noon: Exhibition open; 7.30pm: Concert with Mark Ainsley.
Saturday noon: Exhibition open; 12.30pm: Youth celebration with David Isaac; 7.30pm: Social with Pamela Ashcroft, Gwyn Jones, Country Cream group.
Sunday 10.30am: Exhibition open; 3.30pm: Thanksgiving service, preacher, Right Reverend Rupert Hoare; 5pm: Buffet.
