WELL done to GPs Susan Upton, Alan Calow, Issak Bhojani and Saj Azfar who have set up their own site for their practices at Redlam Surgery and Bentham Road Health Centre in Blackburn. Less than 20 per cent of GPs nationally have a site, so this puts our chums in local general practice at the cutting edge of medical new technology. The site contains a range of information which will be of interest to patients and probably other GPs in the area; the webmaster is Dr Azfar, who is also head of information technology for the Blackburn with Darwen primary care group.
