YOU'VE hit the big one ma'am!
That was the message from Blackpool Pleasure Beach to the Queen Mother last Friday (August 4) as she celebrated her 100th birthday.
A special parade was organised by the fun park and a cavalcade of cartoon characters rode through the grounds and to Beaver Creek, the children's area.
With Bradley Beaver heading the line and his chums Wrinkles and Chewie close behind a special show was put on for the host of children watching.
And to top it off the candles on a giant cake marking 100 glorious years were blown out by local children Lara Cherry and Lucas Blackburn, pictured, before the cake was shared among the children present.
