A THIEF robbed a Whitefield pensioner of more than £300.
The offender called at the Bury New Road home of the 89-year-old woman at 10.50am on Tuesday (Aug 15).
Claiming to be a builder, the thief talked his way into the house and stole the woman's handbag containing the money.
He was white, in his mid 30s, 5ft 8 ins tall, with dirty mousey short cropped hair. He wore a beige woolly jumper and blue jeans.
