RAMSBOTTOM Rotary Club is breaking down international barriers.
Czechoslovakian student Magda Novakova has been enjoying a taste of Lancashire hospitality courtesy of the community orientated organisation.
Magda attends Charles University at Prague, where she is studying English. She was sponsored to come to England to brush up on her language skills.
Mr Jim Turner, international chairman of Ramsbottom Rotary Club, said: "We have a whole list of international projects which we support every year and this was one of them.
"During her month-long stay Magda spent time with a number of families and we took her to places like York."
