I FIND it puzzling that Lynda Veevers (Letters, August 10) got a wasps nest removed so easily from her house the day after asking.
How come, when I asked Environmental Health, two weeks ago, to remove a bees nest in the garden, they said I would have to wait a week and it would cost £15. I'm a pensioner and cannot afford this.
Needless to say I bought a tin of wasps nest destroyer and got rid of it myself.
