ROSEHILL Tenants' and Residents' Association is the first community group in Burnley to win a certificate of compliance to show it acts in a democratic and accountable way.
The certificate will be presented to the association by estate landlord Burnley and Padiham Community Housing chief executive Ian Saville at a special ceremony at the group's Moorland Road headquarters on Monday.
The company says it hopes the 148-member association's success in reaching the required standards will encourage other groups to meet the company's requirements in the participation procedure.
