IT'S like a clip from a 'Carry On' film - East Lancashire hospital patients getting the vapours through being given glimpses of nurses' knickers.
It is hardly the NHS's most urgent problem, but temperatures should come down now that bosses have ordered 'angels' in Burnley to wear slips so their undies don't show through their white uniforms.
But the tale has been a tonic for the rest of us, giving us a welcome dose of light relief in a week dominated by the gloom of the petrol crisis.
