IT'S just a bit of horseplay!
Residents at a Blackburn home for the elderly were delighted to see the special visitor. Care assistant Alison McGinty rode Jack the horse all the way from Tockholes to Higher Ravenswing on Revidge Road, Blackburn, so that the elderly residents could meet him ... and it looks like they made friends for life!
Mrs Valerie Dunning, owner of the home, said: "Alison is quite a character and it was her idea to bring Jack to meet the residents.
"It was a lovely warm day and I can't believe how much they enjoyed seeing the horse.
"Some of the other care assistants rode Jack around but we couldn't get the residents to saddle up - they seemed delighted just to say hello!"
The horseplay tied in with the home's 11th anniversary and residents enjoyed a cream tea to round off the celebrations.
