I SAW Labour MP Gwyneth Dunwoody being interviewed on TV about the petrol blockade crisis. When she was asked what she thought about a sales person trying to do his job, she replied he would have to use the bus.

What a stupid and out-of-touch person she is. How can any sales personnel be expected to clamber aboard a bus, loaded up with heavy sample cases, brief case, catalogues, etc, and hike around on foot, especially in bad weather.

Her remark was like Marie Antoinette's 'let them eat cake' response when told the people had no bread.

Before long, hardship will set in. If the crisis is not resolved or settled to everyone's satisfaction, then some sales agents could go out of business. If they cannot go out, then how can they earn a living?

It's about time the Government listened to what the electorate are saying. The population in this country has been docile and accepted enough in this present climate, and, indeed, in times past, without saying anything.

It's about time we stood up for what we believe in and let the Government be aware of such things.
