POLICE are hunting two youths who stole a 12-year-old boy's from bike from the back of Miller's Gate, in Preston.

At around 1.25pm, on Monday, September 4, the youngster was pushing his £285 black framed 2-speed GT Palomar bike along a track.

As he tried to lift the bicycle over a stile the boy was approached by two old youths who grabbed the bike from him. One of the perpetrators rode off on the bike and the other ran off with him.

The first youth is described as white,16 years old, 5ft 5ins tall, with brown crew-cut hair.

He was wearing an earring in his right ear and wore a blue and beige tracksuit with blue bottoms.

The other youth is also white, around 5ft 8ins tall, with brown hair.

An 83-year-old woman went into her back garden to mow her lawn only to find a man lying on the grass exposing himself and performing an indecent act.

The pervert, described as white, middle aged and stock, with a big stomach, struck at 3.10pm on Monday September 4, at the house in Newsham Hall Lane, Woodplumpton. He was wearing a baseball cap, blue T shirt and jeans.

A thief tricked his way into the flat of 83-year-old woman in Aughton Walk, Preston, and stole a purse containing £10.

the thief is described as a white male, 5ft 8ins, slim, with short brown hair and wearing a light blue polo shirt with a motif on the left. Thieves stole 12 skin care defensive kits values at more than £150 from the Body Shop in Fishergate, Preston, at sometime between 1.30 and 2.30pm on Monday September 4.

One of them is described as a white male, in his late thirties, with dark grey hair. He was wearing a black coat and stone-washed jeans.

The Fire and Rescue Service was called to a white G-registered Skoda, parked near Devonshire Garage, in Devonshire Place, Preston, which was set on fire and left to burn out sometime late on Friday September 1.

Two youths broke into an H-registered Ford Escort parked in Lonsdale Road, Preston, around 1pm on Tuesday September 5.

They removed the ignition cowling and attempted to break the steering lock, but failed, and ran off.

They were both white males, one was riding a mountain bike, the other was aged about 18-20, with a dark crew cut and wearing a two tone black and white coloured top.
