A CAMPAIGN to build a new village hall in Arkholme has been given a £321,780 grant from the National Lottery Charities Board.
The village hall committee has been preparing the lottery application for several months and hopes to begin work in the near future.
Sub-committee chairman Janet Lange said: "We are very excited to have succeeded in our application and the charities board and we are looking forward to the day we can start the building work."
