Chorley face a goalkeeping crisis as they bid for FA Cup progress at the expense of UniBond League Division One rivals Trafford at Victory Park tomorrow.

Regular number one Simon Marsh is still out injured, while Morecambe's Steve McIlhargey wasn't registered in time. To add to manager Ken Wright's worries, Mick Swarbrick, who deputised in the last round against Ossett Town, has an ankle problem.

However, it will be between Swarbrick and David Eatock's brother Paul, who was signed as cover, as to who wears the keeper's jersey.

Elsewhere, central defender Ian Leather is doubtful with a groin strain but Adam Critchley and Steve Hook are available.

Wright has previously been to the first round proper of the competition five times with Chorley, as well as taking Horwich there when they were still in the North West Counties League.

"The Cup has been good to me in the past. I haven't experienced that for a number of years but fingers crossed we can have a good run this year," said Wright. "We are aware of the fact that Trafford turned us over twice in the league last year and we have a score to settle there," he added.
