A MAN was taken to hospital after being stabbed five times late on Saturday.
The man, who has not been named by police, was taken to Blackburn Royal Infirmary after being stabbed in the chest, legs and buttocks near his home in Devonshire Road, Accrington, at around 11pm. A woman was arrested but was later released without charge.
The victim was said to be comfortable in hospital today. Police said they were not looking for anyone else in connection with the incident.
