IS it possible for most of the pupils at Bleak Hill CP to walk to school for the next 12 months?

Many parents drive a very short distance to deliver children rather than taking the healthy option of a 10 or 15-minute walk.

While the new school is being built, Fairway and Regal Drive in Windle are dangerous with heavy traffic. The last thing they need is parents clogging up the roads even more.

Perhaps the headmaster should only keep Hamilton Road and Bleak Hill Road entrances open while the whole area around the Fairway entrance is in such turmoil?

What is certain is that, unless access to the estate is officially restricted, parents will clog the roads up with uneccessary journeys and cause frustration for themselves, site traffic and residents.
