PLUMES of poisonous smoke filled the air above Huncoat after an arson attack on a paint factory.
Residents living close to the Church Paint and Varnish Company on the Huncoat Industrial Estate were warned to stay indoors with the windows shut while firefighters tackled the blaze during the early hours of the morning.
