COULD readers improve my education in respect of the base material for the production of plastics?
I thought it was a by-product of crude oil, but it is never mentioned when the major oil companies keep making statements about the profits from petrol and oil.
With the amount of plastic produced in today's world, I wonder if petrol is, in fact, the by-product.
