I WAS deeply saddened by the recent untimely death of Audrey Wise, the Labour MP for Preston.
Audrey fought valiantly against injustice and was a great champion of the underdog. She gave many impassioned speeches in the House of Commons, several of them in her fight to protect the interests of all our our disabled people.
I feel that I speak not only for myself but for millions of disabled people in our country, when I say: "Thank you, Audrey, for a job well done!"
