Crosfields A 58 Clock Face 13

A BELOW-strength Clock Face were no match for a faster stronger Crosfields team, whose second-half display totally overwhelmed them.

Crosfields got off the mark after just five minutes with a converted try, but Clock hit back when hooker Neil Scott forced his way over in the corner, Crosfields then increased their lead with a further two tries, before Carl Thompson got Clock's only other point of the half with a drop goal.

The second half was more or less one-way traffic with Crosfields running in four tries in the opening 10 minutes.

But Clock still fought back and were rewarded with two tries. The first came when Thompson kicked through and won the race to the line to score, and the second was scored by Anthony Wall who drove in, in the corner.

Crosfields added four more tries for a comfortable win.

Best for Clock were Carl Thompson and Danny Flynn.
