HAS Olympic fever made you think about your fitness. Have you dreamed of becoming the next Roger Black or Dennise Lewis? If so, St Helens Sutton Athletic Club would like to hear from you.

St Helens Sutton Athletic Club provides an opportunity for you to get involved in running events, including cross-country. Alternatively you may like to try field events, such as javelin, discus, high jump or long jump.

Athletics can also contribute to improving speed and fitness important in other sports for example rugby, football, tennis, hockey or netball.

Everybody is welcomed to the club, regardless of age or ability - we can provide coaching and support for the more serious athlete but also motivation to those wanting to improve their general fitness levels.

The athletic club training sessions are held between 7 and 8.30pm every Tuesday and Thursday evening at the Sutton High leisure centre running track. For additional information telephone Ray Vose on 0151 426 5144.
