CHARITIES have benefited from celebrations to mark the new millennnium
The South Asian Millennium Committee held an event at Jan's Conference Centre in Blackburn to thank people who had helped with several events staged as part of Blackburn with Darwen's Millennium Festival.
The Bone Marrow Thalassemia Association and Islamic Relief Orphanage Fund each received £200 raised by the committee.
