A RADCLIFFE teenager had two tendons in her hand severed after being attacked with a broken bottle.
The 18-year-old was dragged into a back alley and sustained the injuries when she put up her hand to protect her face.
Now, police are appealing for witnesses to the assault which happened in Bury Street, Radcliffe, at 11.30pm last Friday (Sept 15).
The victim was walking along the road when she was approached from behind by two females.
They pulled her into the alley before cutting her with the broken bottle. The attackers are described as being female and 5ft 4inch tall.
The injured girl was taken to hospital where she was treated for her injuries.
Police say the attack was unprovoked and nothing was stolen from the girl.
