I RECENTLY visited Christ Church, Walmersley, where the memorial stone of a relative buried in 1925 was damaged by vandals about 18 years ago.
While I was there, my thoughts turned to what the vandals responsible might think today about their handiwork, having now reached, hopefully, a degree of maturity.
