DOING the job! That's Bury Business Club.

The new organisation, established earlier this year with the support of the Bolton and Bury Chamber, provides a lively monthly forum for discussion and networking for all borough businesses.

The latest meeting, held at Link House, was another huge success.

Stephen Singer of Infralogics Business Processes Consultancy presented the "Member's Slot". Guest speaker was John Coward of DTE Insurance.

Other highlights of the meeting included some sobering reflections on the impact of the Human Rights Convention on the building trade, some tall stories from the world of American litigation, reminders of funded training opportunities available through the Bolton Institute; and the customary lively discussion and networking over refreshments.

As always, the meetings of the Bury Business Club are free and open to all local businesses.

Details of the club and future events can be obtained from the chairman Julienne Allott on (0161) 761 4505 or Stephen Singer on (0161) 796 2558.

Diary dates for coming meetings are Thursday, October 26 and Thursday, November 30.
