AN organisation which aims to provide better information, advice and legal services for residents and groups in the Rossendale Valley and other parts of East Lancashire is staging a free seminar at the Astoria, Rawtenstall, on Thursday, October 5, from 10.30-12.30.
The event is being held to help develop a community legal service partnership for the area and is supported by Rossendale Council and the Legal Services Commission.
A spokesman said the partnership would succeed in delivering better legal services only if a wide range of agencies and organisations with an interest in advice services took part.
Organisations are invited to attend to find out whether they should be involved.
More information can be obtained from the Legal Services Commission, 2nd Floor, Elisabeth House, 16 St Peter's Square, Manchester, M23DA, tel. 0161 244 5075.
