A TORONTO woman needs help in tracing some Leigh descendants.
Helen Battersby is looking for information on two Robert Battersbys who lived in Leigh in the 18th century.
The first was born November 24, 1748, and married Alice Ackers (born October 29, 1743) around 1770.
These were Helen's great-great-great-great-great grandparents.
The second was born around 1773 and is thought to have married Peggy Leather around 1795, Helen's great-great-great grandparents.
