PLEASE, let us have more Bleakburn Bugle editions.

As an expatriate Bleakburnian on a recent visit, I was given a copy of this superbly-crafted satirical retrospective.

It more than compensated for the traditional wet and windy welcome home.

The Bugle publishers should apply for an Arts Council grant without delay.

I can see them now as they open the first of many literary pavement cafes dedicated to researching the sudden rise in hypothermia amongst Bleakburn's cafe society.

Let us all hope that Mrs Pauline Vaughan (Letters, October 11) gets out more!
